Maplestory Carnival Party Quest
The Best Way to Win to make maplestory mesos!As many of you maplers out there know, there is an extremely good party quest available to all players between the levels of 31-50. This is the carnival party quest. Basically, during this "pq" (short for party quest), you form a team, and create a map by clicking on the npc (or non-player character). Then, a team with the same number of members, ranging anywhere from 2 to 6 people can challenge. Both teams kill monsters simultaneously, earning points for their team for every kill. After 10 minutes, the team with the highest number of cp (carnival points) wins the game.
First off, the rewards of the pq. Every pq has to have something good come out of it. Otherwise, no one would bother pqing. First off, you can collect maple coins that the monsters will drop as you kill them. You can talk to an npc to trade these coins in for weapons for any class.
You trade in 7 coins for the weakest items available, all the way through 20 coins for the highest level weapons. Also, you can trade 50 coins in for the famed Spiegelmann Necklace. This necklace gives you around 27 magic and weapon defense. Also, it gives you at least +1 in strength, intelligence, dexterity, and luck. If you are lucky, you may end up with a +2 in one of the categories, or even +2 in 2 categories.
If you get a +2 in one category, keep it, unless that category doesn't help your class; in which case, you sell it for up to 2 million, or trade with someone else who needs it and has the one you need. Also, the experience you earn from doing this pq is unbelievable! Not only do you get the experience from killing the monsters, but you also get reward experience for both winning and losing!
There are ranks given to you based on how many points you managed to earn during the pq. The lowest rank that you should get if you actually do something is a C, which gets you 21,000 exp if you win, and 7,000 exp if you lose. Then comes B with 25,500 for winning and 8,500 for losing, and A with 30,000 for winning and 10,000 for losing.
Now, what you want to do is assemble your party. Rooms 1-4 are for 2-4 people parties, and rooms 5 and 6 are for 3-6 member parties. For the first 5 minutes or so, all you want to do is kill everything as fast as possible. They drop potions, so you have no need to fear death. Then, especially if the game is really close, you want to start buffing your monsters. Thats the most important thing, with the best buffs being cancel weapon/magic attack, depending on your opponents.
Next is avoidability up, making your opponents miss a lot more. Final, everything else on the list if you have enough carnival points. I would recommend attack up and speed up as the next 2 best, allowing them to reach your enemies faster as well as dealing up to 100 damage more per hit. Also, while you are doing this, have someone else spam summon master chronos. These are most preferred because of their long range magic attack.
Summon these unless they have a high level cleric, in which case the cleric could spam heal the master chronos to death. You can also summon rombots (the big dark gray robots with a bloctopus on their heads). I think that's what they are called...The problem is they are more expensive than master chronos, so you would need a LOT of carnival points to make this effective. Finally, if there are any carnival points left on your team, you should spend them stunning members of the other team. This way, they can't attack/destroy your buff towers, and with the increased attack power and speed, the chances are that they'll die!
Anyways, that's the basic gist of the pq, as well as one effective strategy that I have seen implemented. This is because as soon as you summon the monster, it remains on the field, even if it's killed. It will just keep respawning. Also, summoning a lot of buff towers means that your opponents won't know which one does what, giving you an advantage because they will have to make it through your swarm of monsters in search of a tower that gives a certain buff. Also, every time someone dies, their team loses 10 carnival points, meaning your opponents will have less to use, and as you continue killing, continue using from this point on. Some say that the Wilderness in Runescape is dangerous; with this Wilderness Pking guide it won't only be not dangerous, but also very profitable. How is the Wilderness profitable you may ask? Its simple, if you have the skills ad the stats to be able to kill other players in the Wilderness you could become very rich very fast.
Now that you know you can make some cash from PKing your probably wondering what kind of character to use, Mage, Range, or Melee. Well in this section ill explain the pros and cons of each.

Pk with Range, Melee, and Mage in Runescape
First off, let's find out what kind of pker you want to be.
There are soo many countless ways to succesfully pk in the world of Runescape. The most common way at a high level (60+) is known as a "strength pure". An account that usually gets 40, maybe 60 attack (corrupt (usually at a higher level)) low defence, 1-20, sometimes even 30, usually only 31 prayer, depends on defence level, and very high hp and strength, sometimes 40 range for hp levels and the ability to wear green dragonhide chaps, giving about +25 defence bonuses, unlike iron platelegs/skirt (+10? defence).
These are usually consisted of main accounts at level 75+, having 60 attack, 60 defence, and 70 strength. These runescape accounts are very succesful but very expensive. They use a very common method of pk, known as the quick switch method. They hit their target down to around 15- hp, their opponent eats a lobster, healing 12 (27- hp), you pull out a battle ax (rune or corrupt) or a rune 2h sword and whack them for a nice hit, killing them in a quick blow. This method is efficient, but expensive if you use a corrupt dragon battleaxe because of its pricings-3.5 million coins as of October 2009.
Next is known as the Range/2h. These Pkers are less often seen in the higher levels because of range being a "single" skill where you only need 1 level type to hit high and to use better items. Then they get 40/60 attack and 60+ strength to also use the quick switch method, but more instant than a strength pure's. Instead of using a scimitar or sword to deal the initial damage, they use a shortbow, much faster (about 1.5x faster when on rapid mode) and still able to hit very accurate and high. I was once pked by a range/2h while only eating one piece of food. They hit several 20+'s and pulled out a corrupt dragon battleax and KABOOM!! He koed me with a really scary 32 (this took about 15 seconds). But the cost of arrows really amounts to a lot of money, so this way is very expensive.
Now is the mage pure, usually found in the combat levels of 20-40 in nonmember worlds. Once their opponents can hit over 16, they are pretty much useless because fire blast, only able to hit a max hit of 16, will never be able to kill them, but at a lower level (25 for example), they can easily cast fire bolt and hit 12's whilst their opponents hitting 7's and 8's. They only train magic, sometimes defence or strength/attack (mage/2h, usually pjers).
Now time to teach you how to make or become a pker with an interesting formula that works about 90% of the time, you may want to have a calculator beside you when you get to a higher level.
Strength Pures- 1.5(Attack level)=strength level, (.05-.2)Strength level+(.05)attack level=defence level, range= 40
Range/2h- Range within 10 levels lower than hp or higher, (1.4 for when you only have under 60 attack, 1.1 when 60 attack+)(attack level)=Strength level, (.95)strength level=range level
As we all know mage in Rune Scape is just bad. Well I have an idea to fix it easily and make it more usable. Make a magic that does not require runes. This magic requires incantations or special words to be said to work. To make it fair the incantations are on pieces of paper which are scattered across the world. Each incantation has 20 pieces to it and all 20 pieces need to be found.
Once all are found the player needs to put them together like a puzzle. The player can then use the incantation and use it. The pieces are hard to find so this makes up for endless use. Also the max damage the incantations can do is 20 but they can be used over and over. This would allow players to have magic be a more useful combat style as without needing runes they can save runescape gold. The pieces of paper can be found by using a spade and digging, searching crates, drawers and chest or by killing enemies of all kind. This would give the first two a use again and make it interesting.

As we all know mage in Rune Scape is just bad. Well I have an idea to fix it easily and make it more usable. Make a magic that does not require runes. This magic requires incantations or special words to be said to work. To make it fair the incantations are on pieces of paper which are scattered across the world. Each incantation has 20 pieces to it and all 20 pieces need to be found.
Once all are found the player needs to put them together like a puzzle. The player can then use the incantation and use it. The pieces are hard to find so this makes up for endless use. Also the max damage the incantations can do is 20 but they can be used over and over. This would allow players to have magic be a more useful combat style as without needing runes they can save runescape gold. The pieces of paper can be found by using a spade and digging, searching crates, drawers and chest or by killing enemies of all kind. This would give the first two a use again and make it interesting.

Train on rotworms and goblins and wild warriors in the Femur hills to the East untill level 13 and buy a wand of dragonbreath for 1000 gp.
After that go south of Femur hills and kill the dwarfs in the caves, there are also tons rotworms there aswell, also kill the dwarf soldiers and minataurs and maybe the dwarf guards (I trained here from level 10 to level 20 in 1 day, it's easy if you are in an empty world or a pvp-enforced world which is where there is loads of player-killing, if such then go to the depots in Ab'Dendriel, safer).
By now you should have most of the spells and rune spells you can and maybe have a back pack of light magic missiles. Also buy a wand of plague but i advise you to also carry your wand of dragonbreath to kill snakes, poisen spiders, spiders, wasps, etc...
Go and kill cyclopses, orc warriors and leaders and party hunt on dragons and giant spiders and just keep killing them untill about level 25 and always have a backpack of heavy magic missiles. Now you should be able to kill most of the monsters in Tibia. Go and kill everything you can now, try and explore your entire map, it is very good to find excellent training places but beware as there are holes behind trees in Thais that you cannot see which will transport you to demons. We are also planning to change the way we communicate with you. We are going to be bringing back Development Diaries but making them more regular and focused on some of the different projects we’re currently working on for you. These will replace Behind the Scenes, which we have found a creative constraint on our developers as the promised content has to come out as communicated in order to avoid disappointment and prevented us from surprising you with better or different content. It has also led to compromises in quality that we’ve not been happy with and, most importantly, pieces of content being released which you, our players, have not enjoyed as much as you should. A side benefit of this is that we’ll be releasing more content which will be a complete surprise to you,rs gold so keep your eyes peeled for updates!
We’d also like to clear up a few issues surrounding the free game. RuneScape is different from all other MMOs in that the free game has an epic amount of content (we’d estimate over 2,000 hours worth to get all your skills up to 99 and complete all the quests) and isn’t merely a demo for the members’ version. If anything, we see the members’ version as an expansion pack for those that really love the game and we feel both games are substantive in their own right. I want to apologise for habitually over-promoting the benefits of membership to our free players. I strongly believe if you love the free game you will equally love the members’ content and that is sufficient promotion to me. If you can’t enjoy the free game in its own right then we’re not doing our jobs properly. We will continue to improve the free game and,warhammer gold crucially, make it as fun as possible because we know that this is the way that everyone first discovers RuneScape. We also have a long-term commitment to improving all the aspects of the game – from overall graphical enhancements through to new gameplay mechanics.
Another thing that has cropped up in recent times, which we’d like to clear up once and for all, is the common belief that RuneScape is a game aimed at kids. This is absolutely not the case. We can see how this view has fostered, however, thanks to our over-zealous chat filter, Quick Chat worlds, “dumbing down” of certain bits of humour and storylines, as well as certain areas of the game like the Stronghold of Security, which do provide solid security advice but perhaps come across as a little condescending to the vast majority of our older players. I unreservedly apologise for this and to rectify this we have already removed a number of words from the chat filter and are currently working on reviewing and amending any content we feel is too kid-focused.
RuneScape benefits from one of the most diverse player demographics in the industry and is truly reflective of the worldwide population. As a responsible company we have had to comply with certain regulatory obligations to ensure online safety for any younger players and as a result we introduced Quick Chat for players under a certain age, but this was to meet our legal responsibilities rather than who the game is designed for, it’s probably also worth noting that we have a total of 4 Quick Chat worlds in a total of 165 RuneScape worlds.
